the 6 rules of dieting

how often do you look in the mirror and say 'i wish i could be thinner '??

and the next thing you know you're skipping meals

this isn't a healthy way of dieting...

many have this common misconception that skipping meals and starving one's self can help a person lose weight..

well..its true in a way...you lose weight as long as you don't eat and when you actually do , you tend to gain

more weight than you have lost..

today , this post is gonna be all about healthy dieting

RULES OF DIETING

1.ALWAYS check the food label of any product you buy
   ~ check the total calories the product contain and also look for specific ingredients like sugar and fat
      These are a big NO NO  in dieting..If you see those on the food label , say goodbye to that food product       and
      look for other healthier food products

2. start EXERCISING
    ~it is a MUST that you excercise each day in order to achieve your goal weight but do remember not to
      over-exercise as it could cause other problems.Start by doing light excercises and slowly increase the             intensity of your workout  later on

      for the lazy ones ~ do something fun and simple like jumping jacks or even jump rope or try brisk                                                walking

      for the super lazy ones ~get out of your couch and start doing squats or lunges while watching your                                                      favourite tv programmes

                                                                                                                                                                   3. count calories

    ~ eating healthy food is excellent but too much of them will prevent you from losing weight
        So start a food journal which keeps track of everything you eat the entire day..and make sure your daily
        calorie intake does not exceed the total calories that your body needs to perform basic body activity..
        in short , just eat what your body needs and nothing more than that

4. Go GREEN
     ~ some might find fruits and vegetable really yucky but trust me they have great taste and big flavours
         try snacking on an apple instead of chips and chocolates or even try a fruit a salad packed with
         the freshest ingredients you can find . Lay off the ice cream and the carbonated drinks and try
         some fruit youghurt and cheese or maybe try something like a fruit bar packed with fibre goodness

5. TAKE YOUR BREAKFAST SERIOUSLY
  ~ skipping breakfast ?? NO! never ever skip this very important meal of the day...breakfast = fuel to the            body...

6. stay hydrated
 ~ drink plenty of water everyday..
